Models available for descaling fish (fish scaler) from 113 g (4oz) to 10 kg (16lbs.); also flounder types of fish up to 12” wide.

Method of Operation

The machine comes equipped with all of the necessary components to operate immediately. The operator feeds each fish head first into the center of the entry chute. Traveling from left to right, the fish are held in place and driven over a series of star shaped rollers and de-scalling heads.

After the fish de-scaling is complete, the fish automatically exits the machine. Water lines help keep the fish wet and wash the scales into the scale catcher. The operation is carried out with such precision that there is little or no damage to the fish.
